Jim Bennett

Jim Bennett

Jim Bennett is the current PNBAA Chairman and member of the Airport Use and Access Committee.

He is employed with Starbucks Coffee Company as the Director of Aviation/Chief Pilot, based at BFI.  He has over 30 years aviation experience with FAR 91,121, 125, and 135 flight operations.

As a manager with over 20 experiences, he has been responsible for all aspects of strategic, resource, and financial planning.  He has logged 17,000+ flight hours. He attended Syracuse University and holds a BS in Business.

 

Chuck Kegley

Chuck KegleyChuck Kegley serves as an at large member on the Board of Directors, and is the Chair of the PNBAA Legislative Affairs Committee.

He is the President/Director of Operations for Advanced Aviation Services, an aviation-consulting group that specializes in safety and security programs, and operational programs for corporate flight departments and fixed base operators (FBO).

Chuck has more than 30 years’ experience in engineering, fixed base operations and safety/security program development and administration.  He also has over 20 years experience in FBO management with operators on Boeing Field.

He recently completed the Aviation Safety Management Systems program at USC’s Viterbi School of Engineering.

 

Don Hitch

 

Don Hitch has been involved in the business and general aviation industry for 30 years holding a variety of leadership positions supporting Part 91,125, and 135 operations. He currently serves as President of  Flight Partners Group, LLC based in Redwood City, CA. Previously,  Don served as the President and General Manager of AMI Jet Charter, a subsidiary of TAG Aviation, managing a fleet of 70+ aircraft and over 350 employees.  With AMIJC’s successor companies, Don served as the Vice President of Part 91 Operations and as a Client Responsible Officer with oversight of the Flight Standards department.  Don is type rated in the Boeing 757, G-V, Global Express, G-1159, Sabreliner 65, and the Citation 500/550 logging close to 8000 accident free hours.  In addition to the  Pacific Northwest Business Aircraft Association, Don previously held positions as a contributing member of the NBAA Operations Committee and the Advisory Board for the Puyallup WA School District.

 

David G. Lehman

David G. Lehman is a member of the PNBAA Board of Directors and serves as its Secretary.

David has been flying for over 36 years and is rated to fly all categories of aircraft; airplane, rotorcraft, glider and balloon.  He worked 27 years for the FAA and retired in January 2006.  During his FAA career he was an Air Traffic Controller at Lewiston, ID, an Aviation Safety Inspector at Spokane GADO/FSDO, and an Aviation Safety Inspector and Supervisory Aviation Safety Inspector in Seattle, WA.  David is the Assistant Director of Operations for Skycorp Executive Charters, Everett, WA, an Assistant Chief Flight Instructor at Crest Airpark, Kent, WA, an aviation consultant, and is active in Civil Air Patrol as the Standard/Evaluation Officer for Washington State.

David, a Seattle native, is a graduate of Big Bend Community College and Central Washington University. 

 

 

David Warner

 

David Warner is Chair of the Lane Powell PC Aviation Practice Group, a leading Pacific Northwest lawfirm headquartered in Seattle with offices in Washington, Portland, Alaska and London, England. He focuses his practice on aviation law and frequently advises clients on aircraft acquisition, disposition, operation, leasing and financing. In addition, David also has extensive experience in business and securities law, mergers & acquisitions, securities regulation, finance and community banking. In the nearly 30 years he has been practicing law, he has represented clients ranging from start-ups to large public companies and has considerable experience advising the Board of Directors. He is “AV” rated by Martindale-Hubbell. David is an active participant in Bar and trade association groups, and serves on the Boards of Directors and is General Counsel to the National Aircraft Finance Association and the Pacific Northwest Business Aviation Association. He is a frequent speaker at aviation-related seminars around the country.

 

 

 

Darwin Stout

Darwin Stout is the maintenance representative on the Board of Directors and serves as chair of the maintenance committee.

Darwin is a Senior Regional Sales Manager in Product Support Sales for Gulfstream Aerospace, based in Seattle.  He has over 22 years of corporate aviation experience, having worked in several engineering roles with Beech Aircraft, Learjet/Bombardier and Gulfstream, where he transitioned into Maintenance Sales.  He also has accident investigation experience working with the NTSB, FAA and other foreign aviation safety authorities, while working at Learjet.

 

Darwin is an Airframe and Powerplant Technician and a Private Pilot.  He holds a B.S. in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Tennessee, along with an Aviation Safety Certificate from the University of Southern California.

 

 

Mike Rice

Mike Rice

Mike Rice serves as an at large member on the Board of Directors, and is the Chair of the Events Committee and sits on the airport use committee.

Mike has been the General Manager of Aerodyne Aviation for the last 8 years. He also serves on the Renton Airport Advisory Committee as the Airport Lease holders representative.

Before that Mike worked for the Museum of Flight for 16 years as the Air Operations Manager.

 

Brint Smith

Brint SmithBrint Smith is a member of the PNBAA Board and serves as its membership chair.

Beginning January 1, 2009 Brint has joined John F. Throne & Co. as Vice President, Aviation.  Previously, he spent 19 years with an international insurance broker, where he built and led their high net worth aviation practice.   Brint is a private pilot with aviation risk management and insurance experience in FAR 91, 135, 125 and 121 aircraft operations as well as manufacturing.

He is also a member of the NBAA’s Tax Committee, chairing their Risk Management Working Group, and holds his Associate in Risk Management designation.

Brint has a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Vermont, speaks frequently and has authored several technical articles.

 

Jeff Stillwell

Jeff StillwellJeff Stillwell has been in corporate aviation since 1983 when he was with GTE based at PAE. Since then he has been the chief pilot for several flight departments in the Puget Sound area, with over 10,000 hours in various aircraft including type ratings in the CL-604, DA-50, EMB 145, HS-125, CE-550 and CE-750. He also spent four years as the General Manager of the FBO, FlightCenter (now Clay Lacy BFI).

Jeff is currently flying a Citation X that is based in Bremerton WA.

 

Douglas Wilson

Doug WilsonDouglas Wilson serves as the Vice President and Treasurer for PNBAA. He is also a co-chair of the Safety Event Committee.

Doug is currently the Director of Line Operations and Customer Service for Galvin Flying Services at Boeing Field (BFI).  Prior to joining Galvin in 2006, Doug served with Signature Flight Support in various roles, including Customer Relations Manager (DCA), Operations Manager (MKE), and Corporate Training Manager, where was responsible for the development and implementation of US and European training curriculum, including management development, customer service and line operations for all Signature locations.

Doug holds a B.S in Business Administration from Christopher Newport University, is an active pilot with fixed-wing land and sea, glider and helicopter ratings, and is a contributing writer for Professional Pilot Magazine.
