11th Annual Golf Tournament

The Golf Club at Newcastle, Washington

Thursday, September 19th

Golfer registration, sponsorship and volunteers opportunities are all available now for the 11thAnnual Golf Tournament on Thursday, September 19th at The Golf Club at Newcastle. Initial response has been fantastic on all levels – thank you. Our community of 300+ will overtake both courses again this year providing plenty of opportunities for everyone to participate.

Each year the organizing committee strives to make the tournament more fun.

  • This year the 11th place golfing team will win a big award!
  • The diverse sponsorships available are certain to fit all budgets and provide unique experiences. As an example, the VIP Sponsor includes a personal course guide to help your team towards the podium.
  • A social ticket is a new option for those of us who have limited time that day or have yet to take up the game.

Proceeds from this event help support PNBAA scholarships, educational programs and other free events throughout the year.

Raisbeck Aviation High School Scholarship

It is with great pleasure the PNBAA Board has awarded Riley Stonesifer, a Senior at Raisbeck Aviation High School, the 2019 Pacific Northwest Business Aviation Association Scholarship in the amount of $5,000.

Riley has interned with Boeing in their Research and Technology Division on Paints, Sealants, and Chemical Technology team. She has been quite active through various engineering-related clubs at RAHS, including aerospace-themed physics, and competitive design competitions. Riley will be attending Purdue University this fall. After college, she plans to continue her passion of Engineering in commercial and business aviation.

Friends and Family BBQ

Each year the PNBAA community puts on a barbecue luncheon on Boeing Field in advance of the festivities of Seafair Weekend.

Please join us this year at Modern Aviation's bay 3 hangar for a catered lunch from Raney's BBQ and enjoy the sights of the Blue Angels flying overhead, while visiting with 200+ aviation professionals.

The organizing committee requests your help finalizing a catering plan by registering online by Friday, July 26th if feasible, sooner is appreciated. The luncheon is FREE, but there will be an opportunity at the hangar to show your appreciation for this event with a suggested $5 cash donation.

If you are not an annual PNBAA member, consider joining your peers now in strengthening this regional business aviation community. Your membership helps fund our future programs, youth scholarships and member grants.

Welcome to the Board!

Becky Mares is an experienced aviation attorney who advises clients on the acquisition, disposition, operation, leasing and financing of business and commercial aircraft, domestically and abroad. She is a member of the International Society of Transport Aircraft Trading, National Business Aviation Association and the International Aviation Womens Association. Becky volunteers for Seattle Union Gospel Mission Open Door Legal Services and sits on the Community Council for FareStart.

As a former International Contract Manager for an aircraft manufacturer, Becky is well versed in commercial contract agreements, and helps clients manage risk and liability, including international negotiations. Becky is also a certified mediator, having completed advanced coursework through the Northwest Institute for Dispute Resolution.

Becky has been married to her husband, Paul, for over 30 years, has four grown children and three adorable grandchildren. She feels blessed to live in the Pacific Northwest.


Danny Yazzolino got his start when he joined the Hillsboro Aviation team in 2012 as a line service technician. 

In 2016, he was promoted to facility manager before serving as FBO and facilities manager overseeing the company’s FBO division. His interest in aviation formed out of a love for it’s community-focused environment. Danny holds degrees in economics and finance, and is currently pursuing his MBA from Pacific University.

Danny is a proud native Oregonian and is committed to supporting a robust business aviation community in the Pacific Northwest.

Danny spends his free time biking, surfing, and camping throughout the Pacific Northwest with his wife, Lauren, and their Australian Shepherd, Scout.
